Morongo Casino Resort & Spa Opens New Restaurant
Cabazon, California (March 11, 2009) – Asian food lovers will have a new dining choice when Morongo Casino Resort & Spa opens a new Asian-inspired restaurant called Bamboo on Saturday, March 14.
The name “Bamboo” comes from an ancient Asian belief. Philosophically, the lucky bamboo represents the ultimate Asian wisdom: the significance of being flexible and hollow (open) on the inside, so as to allow the spirit to freely flow through. This way of thinking is reflected in the layout and architecture of the restaurant, giving patrons a feeling of peace and serenity.
“Bamboo has beauty in both the décor and the food,” said Dual Cooper, General Manager of Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. “Our guests have been requesting an Asian concept, now they have a top-notch Asian dining venue to enjoy.”
Bamboo, an Asian noodle restaurant, features entrees and flavors from Vietnam, China, Thailand, Korea and Japan such as Shrimp Pad Thai, Yaki Udon Seafood, Singapore Minced Beef Noodle and Wok Seared Egg Noodle. The restaurant is open for dinner seven days a week and will serve lunch on the weekends.
Bamboo has a capacity for 75 occupants, but assures wary diners-to-be that the size won’t create a long wait for tables. The average bill is $15, which makes Bamboo not only a tasty place to eat, but also an affordable one.
